Glen Hardy White II was sent to his creator, Heavenly Father, on March 26, 2018. Glen was born on June 15, 1985 in Incirlik Air Force base in Adana, Turkey to Kirk and Linda White.

He also has an older sister, Kaylyn, whom he always referred to as “Sister” and never Kaylyn. His dad was very proud to have his son and all attention was on Glen as he was the only baby born in the hospital.

Glen enjoyed doing many activities in his lifetime such as fishing, working out, playing the piano (obtaining praise from his teacher for his soft key touch), singing, and golfing. He was also an amazing cook. He could whip up anything on a whim and it was always very tasty and delicious. He obtained the highest award in the scouting program, the rank of an Eagle Scout. He was a gentleman. His sister recalls him carrying her on his back during the flood season in the Philippines and would offer his jacket whenever she was cold. He knew the importance of prayer and when he prayed he would always make sure to bless his Granny, Grandpa, Nanay, Tatay, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was also very proud of his Filipino heritage.

Glen graduated from Clover Park High School in 2003 and participated in the high school track team, ROTC and football team. He began playing football in 4th grade as he loved the game, was big for his age and built for the sport. He was a phenomenal football athlete and praised many times for his athletic abilities. He had a scholarship to play football at Snow College but wanted to follow in his sister's footsteps and attend BYU. He graduated from the seminary program for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 2003 and made the Dean's list.

Glen’s passion for working out led him to pursuing his certification as a personal trainer. Glen was also trained as a local 86 iron worker. His first project was on 9th and Lenore in Seattle. It was a base mat which was considered to be the hardest part, especially for being an apprentice at the time. He took a lot of pride in this career and as he would say, “Building America”.

Glen began dating Vanessa Rawlings on June 8, 2014. They married on April 29, 2016 and called each other “the love of our lives”. He was her “forever”. They were together for almost four years. He was a proud father of two beautiful children, Brielle (5) and King (3) whom he loved with all his heart.

Glen loved making people laugh with his silliness and was always up for a good challenge. He could pack away the food like a squirrel preparing for hibernation. Glen once challenged his brother-in-law, Jeff, to eat a whole tub of ice cream and of course, there was no contest as Glen out ate him. He had a quick wit, a contagious laugh, and a warm smile that would brighten anyone’s day. He will be locked forever in the hearts of his loved ones.

Glen is survived by his wife Vanessa, their children Brielle and King, his parents Kirk and Linda, his sister Kaylyn aka “Sister” (Jeff, Izzy, Sophia), Granny Darlene, and multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by Grandpa, his namesake Glen Hardy White, and grandparents Francisco and Agustina Balecotcha aka “Tatay” and “Nanay”.

His viewing will be held Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 5420 104th Street SW in Lakewood, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm following the viewing. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
