Wanda Lee McMullan Creech, of Midland, passed away, Sunday, April 8, 2007.
She was born October 14, 1909 to JPH McMullan and Lottie Hailey McMullan in Ft. Chadbourne, Texas. She graduated from Rogers High School in Arkansas in 1920. Wanda married Clint Creech in June 1928 and later that year moved to Midland. Wanda worked for several years as a cashier at the Scarbauer Hotel. She later entered the family business of McMullan Dry Goods and ran it until she retired in 1958. Wanda was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She loved to crochet, spending time in her garden and doing ceramics at the Midland Senior Center.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her son Charles and his wife Linda Creech of Midland; her brother, JPH (Pat) McMullan of Midland and a grandson, Brian Creech of Midland.
The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home Tuesday, April 10, 2007 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Graveside services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M.
