Mrs. Theresa Amestoy to be Laid to Rest Following Requiem Mass in Church

Requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas's Catholic Church tomorrow tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. for Mrs. Therese Amestoy, pioneer resident of Los Angeles, who died Sunday at the Queen of Angels Hospital. Burial will be in the family vault at Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Amestoy was a member of one of the oldest families of Los Angeles. She came here from France about forty-five years ago. Not long after her arrival she married A. J. Amestoy, who had came here from the same part of France. They established themselves on the Amestoy ranch in the San Fernando district. Mr. Amestoy died about three years ago. A son, Louis F. Amestoy, is left. The family home is at 1238 Elden avenue.
