Note: "Ceely" consisted of two tracts of 250 acres each,at the mouth of Salt f ord creek, on the banks of James river, which were acquired by Colonel W illiam Wilson in 1691 and 1695 from one Thomas Ceely--doubtless a son o f that Major Thomas Ceely, who represented Warwick county in the House o f Burgesses from 1529 to 1639.
