Charles “Charlie” Scott, age 84, of May’s Lick, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He was born in Cynthiana on December 5, 1933, the son of the late Edward and Roxie Kearns Scott. He was a retired truck driver and was later employed by NAPA, in Cynthiana. Charlie was an avid sports fan, fisherman and loyal University of Kentucky fan.

Survivors include: his wife, Dixie Courtney Scott; two sons, Douglas R. (Tammy) Scott, of Cynthiana, and Ricky (Beverly) Scott, of Sorrento, Florida; a daughter, Vicky (Terry) Glascock, of Ov iedo, Florida; a step-son, Danny Graves, and step-daughter, Sharon Doyle, both of May’s Lick; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara (James Donald) Kenney, of Cynthiana. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two step-daughters, Angie Graves and Patty Graves; and a brother, Corky Scott.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory, in May’s Lick, with Dr. Larry Bishop officiating. Burial will be in May’s Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
