Rose M. Dunn, age 80, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 25, 1937 to Russell and Stella Krohn in Toledo. She was a paraprofessional for Toledo Public Schools up until retirement. Rose enjoyed family get togethers, internet cafes, the casino and traveling in her spare time.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Robert Dunn; children, Loretta Taylor, Rudy Castillo, Fidel Castillo, Russell Castillo, Zeke Castillo, Felix Castillo, Donna Castillo, Rita Bower, Dorothy Dunn and Denise (Michael) Whitmer; with her marriage to Robert Rose was blessed with an additional 7 children. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly and Melvia; brothers, Robert and Marvin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny; sister, Marcy and brother, Russell.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 2 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
