He was a Navy Veteran. Mr. Tillery was a retired Memphis City Firefighter with over 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Memphis Fire Fighters Association and International Association of Fire Fighters. After retiring from the Memphis City Fire Department, Mr. Tillery went to work for TDOT. He was an avid University of Memphis Tigers basketball and football fan.
Mr. Tillery is survived by the mother of his children, Mariella Harris, two children; Bryan Tillery and his wife Jennifer, one daughter, Sheila Velasquez and her husband Michael, two granddaughters; Hayley and Gabriela.
Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
