June 30, 1940 - March 29, 2018 Margaret Mary Bowman, age 77, of Corbin, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her home.
Born on June 30, 1940 in Lebanon, Kentucky, Margaret was the daughter of the late Bruce Sr. & Ann Margaret (Spalding) Thomas.
Margaret retired from JC Penney as a Catalog Manager, a member of the Corbin Red Hats, & a faithful member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Besides her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband: William Orville "W.O." Bowman and one brother: Bruce Thomas, Jr.
Margaret is survived by Four Children: William O. Bowman, Jr., Joseph Patrick Bowman, Laetitia (Tish) Ball all of Corbin, Kentucky, and Tory Bowman of Lexington, Kentucky. Five Sisters and Three Brothers: Frank Thomas & wife Joan of Lebanon, Kentucky, Praxie McQueary of West Virginia, Norene Alford & husband Richard of Louisville, Kentucky, Liz Cox of Lebanon, Kentucky, Louise Domick & husband Dennis of Louisville, Kentucky, Freda Stump of Lebanon, Kentucky, Barry Thomas & wife Haney of Lebanon, Kentucky and Paul Thomas of Louisville, Kentucky. Three Grandchildren: Jeff Ball, Kristie Bowman and Brett Bowman & wife Amber. and Two Great-Grandchildren: Brantley and Brody Bowman.
Margaret also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the O'Neil - Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Michael Weglicki officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
