--Occupation: He first managed a shoe store in Charlotte. He then spent 20 years in management positions with Pillsbury throughout the southeast. He later owned Gold Seal Pet Food in Birmingham, AL. He returned to Charlotte in the 1980s where he owned Fisher Oil Company. He and Carolyn managed the Fisher Ostrich Ranch until his retirement.
