According to available records most of the Peters family stayed in the Folkestone, Kent area of England and raised their families there. However, their oldest son, Henry, along with his wife and family left for New Brunswick, Canada, probably in the early 1830's. That was about the time that Henry Johnstone is reported to have brought the Kinread and Peters families to that area of Canada (Richibucto, Buctouche, Westmorland areas).
