Roy William Myers, 85, loving husband of D. Joanne Rosenberger Myers, entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born on Thursday, September 1, 1932 in Shady Grove, he was a son of the late Harry and Rhoda Etter Myers. He was also preceded by a brother, Paul Myers; and two sisters, Emzie Hollingshead and Eloise Ramsey.

In 1995, he retired from the former York International after 26 years of service. Ray will be remembered as hardworking. He liked to stay busy and had a passion for farming; working the horses, being on a tractor and mowing the grass. He was a member of the Community Evangelical Free Church. Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed being around his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 67 years, are seven children, Rebecca Meador of Hanover, Deborah Richards of New Oxford, Michael Myers and his wife, Connie, David Myers and his wife, Carolyn, all of Hanover, Mark Myers and his wife, Diane, of Lisbon Falls, ME, Faith Peck and her husband, Christopher, of Hanover, and Andrew Myers and his wife, Sandy, of New Oxford; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 am Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Community Evangelical Free Church, 580 Roths Church Road, Spring Grove with The Rev. Dr. Andrew Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens.
