Forrest Vernon Dean, 84, passed away on March 27, 2018. He is the son of Leonard Allen and Bertha Mae Dean. He graduated from Henry Clay High School and the University of Kentucky. After graduating, he entered the United States Air Force and became a fighter pilot and obtained the rating of Captain. After being released from active duty, he opened his own accounting and tax consulting firm. He previously owned Hales Pharmacies and Fire Fighter Sales & Services. He is a 33 degree Mason, member of the Oleika Shrine Temple and Porter Memorial Baptist Church. He is past Treasurer of the Musicians Union. He enjoyed boating and tailgating at the University of Kentucky football games. Surviving Forrest is his wife of 63 years, Helen Lee Noel, two sons, Forrest Michael Dean and David Bruce Dean (Susan) and two grandchildren, Tori and Dylan Dean. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Lexington, Kentucky.
