Mr. Clarence Hutcherson “Buck” Wells, age 86 of South Hill, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his residence. He was a retired crane operator for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Buck was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Lee (Coon) Wells and Annie G. Wells, his sister Alice Lee Wells and brother Gilbert W. Wells . Buck is survived by his wife of forty-nine years Lois Ann Wells, a son Robert H. Wells (Whimpy) and wife Amanda of La Crosse, four grandchildren; Summer D. Banes and husband “TJ” , LeAnn R. Wilson and boyfriend Tyler, Hunter R. Wells, and Alice A. Wells and one great grandchild Lilianna Banes. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 29349 HWY #58, South Hill, Va. on Saturday, April 7, 2018
