Andrea Costen Davis, 48, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of Virginia Beach and a resident of Suffolk for the past 7 years. Andrea was a Claims Unit Chief for the U.S. Coast Guard and a veteran of the U.S. Army. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Vincent Davis; son, DeAndre Davis; two daughters, Destini Davis and Tiffany Davis; granddaughter, Kennedy A. K. Lloyd; father, Carter Gilmer; mother, Annie Costen-Gilmer; two sisters, Michelle Baker-Bartlett and Robin Gilmer; and two brothers, Harvey Gilmer and Andre Fullen. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Va. Beach. A celebration of Andrea’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 884 Bells Mill Rd., Chesapeake. Interment will be held 11:00 am, Sunday, November 27 at Rosewood Memorial Park.
