Mr. Martin was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was preceded in death by his parents, Collis Remer & Lucille (Coppage) Martin; a sister, Louise Fisher, and brothers, Raymond & Johnny Martin. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Martin; daughter, Teresa Royals; sons & their spouses, Mike & Diane Martin of SD, Randy & Debbie Martin of Staten Island, NY, Phillip & Sue Martin of Livingston, CO, Steve & Nancy Martin of Jacksonville, FL; stepsons & their spouses, Hardy & Donna Bennett, and Wayne & Beth Bennett, all of Valdosta; 15 grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services were conducted on Friday, April 6, 2007, Rev. Charlie Scarborough officiated. Music Funeral Services of Valdosta assisted the family with the arrangements.
