Gloria Belva Turner of Commerce, OK passed from this life Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 76.

Gloria was born July 13, 1941 in Tahlequah, OK to Daniel and Belva (Lemaster) Post. She had lived in Tahlequah until her 8th grade year when she moved to Commerce. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. She had worked as a lab technician for Eagle – Picher in Quapaw, OK for 25 years.

Gloria married Bruce Virgil Turner July 2, 1959. He preceded her in death August 2, 2017. She was also preceded by her parents, her brother John Thomas Post and 2 sisters Algerene Owens and Mamie Cowles.

Survivors include her son Chuck Turner of Commerce, OK, her daughter Christy Easley and husband Jeff of Tulsa, OK, a granddaughter raised as a daughter Brandy Grider and husband Adam of Commerce, OK, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Commerce, OK. Rev. Steve Patterson will officiate. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhome.com
