Dewey Morris Dillworth, 80, of Paducah, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at his home.

Dewey was born in McCracken County, Kentucky on March 27, 1937 to Hubert and Julia Peyton Dillworth. He was a graduate of Heath High School and served in the United States Army. He was a floor covering installer in this area for many years then retired from Lowes in the retail sales department. He was a longtime member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He volunteered at Carson Center, was an avid UK basketball fan, and enjoyed camping, traveling and gospel music.

He is survived by his wife, Shelba Payton Dillworth; daughter, Debbie (Steve) Willoughby of Kevil; son, Phillip Dillworth of Kevil; grandchildren, Devin Willoughby and Bryce Willoughby; brother, Carl (Pat) Dillworth of Kevil; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his first wife of 56 years, Deanna Dillworth; daughter, Darla Kay Dillworth; son, Dewayne M. Dillworth; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm Sunday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Wes Morehead officiating. Visitation will begin at 1pm Sunday at the funeral home.

A private graveside memorial service at Woodlawn Memorial Garden will be held at a later date.
