He was born August 30, 1931 in Murphy, NC. Mark retired from Alaska Coast Guard after serving 32 years in Civil Service and 9 years in the United States Army.
Preceded in death by his parents, William & Maudie Taylor Barton.
The family will hold a private graveside service will be held at Bethel-Fairview Cemetery.
