Deborah Jean Gorham was born January 1, 1950. She attended Bagley Elementary School, Wilson Middle School, Lincoln High School, and earned her Associate of Arts degree at North Seattle Community College in Early Childhood Education. Deborah studied beauty and style throughout her life. She raised two daughters and was especially keen on her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She taught in special education, including Ryther, and lived in Seattle, Taos, San Francisco, Kauai, and Los Angeles. She gave elegant gifts, made exquisite food, and wrote witty correspondences to her friends, family, and acquaintances; she touched many people's lives. She remained uncomplaining, generous, joyful, and loving during her long illness of scleroderma.
