Hessenauer, Marjorie Belle (nee Hofstetter)

Passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday October 27, 2014 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Loving mother of Julie Keller. Devoted grandmother of Tim (Brenda), Chris (Suzanne) and David (Sheryl), great grandmother of Tyler, Matthew, Jackson, Jamie, Isabella and Lily and great great grandmother of Savannah. Dear sister of Lila MacMillan and the late Delford Hofstetter. Loving aunt of Shelley, Beth and Scott. Marjorie was a switchboard operator with Kitchener City Hall for 26 years. She was a longtime member of Zion United Church, who enjoyed quilting at Rockway Senior Centre, being a school volunteer and travelling. She enjoyed her later years at Beechwood Manor, where she resided for many years.
A Private Family Service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Doctors Without Borders or Operation Smile would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
