Lola Mae Wells, age 81, of Richlands, VA died peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her home. She was born October 23, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Orson and Oma Keen. She loved taking care of her family, sewing, gardening, and she loved her flowers. Lola was a mother to all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wells; one brother, Walter Keen; step-grandson, Jim Malz.
Lola is survived by two daughters, Vickie Aldridge and husband Mike of Richlands, VA, Jackie Besase and fiancé Frank Williams of Roanoke, VA; granddaughter like a daughter, Crystal Shelton and husband, Jimmy of Richlands, VA; step-daughter, Dorothy Ann Malz and husband Larry of Belle Plaine, MN; two sisters, Corda Lee Stech and husband Dave of Fredricksburg, VA, Pauline Reedy of Richlands, VA; grandchildren, Derek Besase, Ryan Besase, Corey Besase, and Kayla Besase; step-grandchildren, Danny Malz and Jessica Hanson; great-grandchildren, Carley Shelton and Michael Shelton; step-great grandchildren, Madison Malz, Joey Hanson, and Scooter Hanson.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Kenny Wells and Pastor Clayton Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Corey Besase, Ryan Besase, Derek Besase, Mike Aldridge, Jimmy Shelton, and Frank Williams.
