Mickey was employed with the Upper Darby Township in the Sanitation Dept. Mickey had the gift of gab, striking up conversations with anyone he met. He always had something funny to say. He was a collector of antique trains, Coca-Cola items, tools, Tonka Trucks and Hot Wheels Cars. He would do anything to help anyone.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Mary Jean Murphy (nee Rainey), his siblings Lori Murtaugh (Bernie), Eddie Murphy (Vicky) and Cassie Morgan (Dan) and many nieces and nephews.
