Eugene F. Gray, Sr., 86 of Loudonville, passed away March 27, 2018. He was born April 10, 1931 in Hancock, PA to the late Cletus and Helen (Carlheim) Gray. Eugene honorably served as a member of the 5th RCT in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Operating Engineers and was a member of Local 18. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, gave of his time volunteering, and ran many marathons. He will be dearly missed.
Eugene is survived by his wife of 22 years Linda (Deeb) Gray; his children Eugene F. Gray, Jr. (Charlotte Hinkle), Cletus Wayne (Drema) Gray, Mark Robert Gray, Kimberly (Doug) Backlund, and Kathy (Michael) Wood; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Gerard (Liz) Gray, Dave (Judy) Gray, Alvin (Gin) Gray; and sisters Catherine Baker and Joyce Bacho.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Joy (Deason); daughter Pamela Gray; brothers Paul, Pat, and Jerome Gray; and sister Viola Lawrence.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St. Medina, where friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment at York Township Cemetery in Mallet Creek.
