PEARSON, Edward Carleton, "Weeda," age 74, passed away on March 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Beverley Daniel Pearson; and his parents, Joseph and Susie Pearson. He is survived by his wife of two years, Andrea "Sherry" Pearson; his children, Renee Barlow (Jason), Stephen Pearson, Shara Mullins; and a stepson, Jason Brackenridge (Laura); grandchildren, Dominick, Carleigh, Gracie, Corey, Blake, Alex and Ben; one brother, Kenneth M. Pearson; and special nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1963. He was a member of Foursquare Life Church. He had a long, successful career as a site work grading superintendent, working for several well-respected contractors in the Richmond area. He most recently retired from FortyTwo Contracting after 13 years of service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., Glen Allen, Va. 23060, where a service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at New Hope Christian Church, 742 New Hope Rd., Danieltown, Va. 23821. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations in his honor to your church or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
