PEARSON, Edward Carleton, "Weeda," age 74, passed away on March 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Beverley Daniel Pearson; and his parents, Joseph and Susie Pearson. He is survived by his wife of two years, Andrea "Sherry" Pearson; his children, Renee Barlow (Jason), Stephen Pearson, Shara Mullins; and a stepson, Jason Brackenridge (Laura); grandchildren, Dominick, Carleigh, Gracie, Corey, Blake, Alex and Ben; one brother, Kenneth M. Pearson; and special nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1963. He was a member of Foursquare Life Church. He had a long, successful career as a site work grading superintendent, working for several well-respected contractors in the Richmond area. He most recently retired from FortyTwo Contracting after 13 years of service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., Glen Allen, Va. 23060, where a service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at New Hope Christian Church, 742 New Hope Rd., Danieltown, Va. 23821.
