Kent “Ken” Allen Brown, Sr. entered his eternal rest on Wednesday March 28, 2018. Ken was 69 years old. He endured a short battle with cancer after losing his beloved wife and best friend to cancer just 10 weeks prior.
Ken was Born in Miami, Florida on September 26, 1948 to Burton and Helen Brown.
Ken served in the United States Air force as an aircraft mechanic and as a Instructional Design and Development Technician, retiring as a Tech Sargent. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a proud American. After his time in the service he relocated to Memphis, Tn. to work at Federal Express where he became a Senior Instructional Development Specialist. After retirement he enjoyed his time with his friends and family in Dunnellon Fl.
He enjoyed volunteering at the Rainbow Springs State Park and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his brother Burton Brown Jr of Alabama, a son Kent Allen Brown Jr, a son Scott Edward Brown, and daughter Jennifer Amanda Coffey, 9 Grandchildren, 3 Brother in-laws and 2 Sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Tuesday, April 3rd, Service at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue Memphis, Tennessee.
