Larry was born August 18, 1940, in Pueblo to Lawrence and Helen (White) Russell.
Larry and his wife have lived in Buena Vista since 1966. He loved to fish, hunt, dance and watch the Denver Broncos and CU Buffs. He also really enjoyed the many cruises he and Patty went on. He loved spending time with his family and going to coffee with his retired miner friends from Climax. He was a member of Trout Unlimited and a 27 year cancer survivor.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years of Buena Vista, son and wife of Rifle, and daughter and husband of Pueblo; sister and husband of Roy, Utah; granddaughter and spouse of Pueblo, granddaughter and spouse of Highlands Ranch, grandson of Rifle and grandson of Meeker; five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services are set for 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, at ClearView Community Church. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
