On March 22, 2018, she heard the voice of Jesus calling and she answered at her residence and slipped away to a better place. A place where there is no more sickness, hurt, harm, danger, pain nor suffering.

Marg was educated in the local public schools in Beaufort, SC. She labored in the fields along with her parents and siblings until she migrated to New York in 1960. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann Wright, two brothers, Willie Smalls Jr. and Robert (Sonny) Smalls Jr. and a dear lifelong friend, James Chance better known as “JC.
