Peggy Gilbert Reynolds, age 84, of Lincolnton, was a daughter to the late Forest Sydney Gilbert and Bertha Ethel Rudisill Gilbert. She was also predeceased by her husband, James Pinkney Reynolds; daughter, Sherry Chapman; daughter-in-law ,Betty Fredell Reynolds; sister, Christine Hovis.
Mrs. Reynolds (Peggy) enjoyed spending time with family. She was a wonderful cook, renowned for her potato salad and pinto beans. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and exercising her green thumb, and she made beautiful floral arrangements. She loved to travel, as long as it didn’t involve a boat or plane ride. She joined her husband, children, and grandchildren on many adventures all over the US and even to Mexico and Canada. Peggy walked closely with the Lord and leaves behind her a legacy of faith. She covered her family with prayer. She was a true blessing to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She worked in textiles for over 40 years.
