Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Bonnie Jean Loosle Erickson, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017. She was born the youngest of seven children to William James and Margaret Loosle on August 21, 1931. She spent the first eight years of her life in the little town of Clarkston where she enjoyed many hours with her cousins, aunts, uncles and cherished grandmother. Later the family moved to the Logan 10th Ward where she met Elmer Golden Erickson. Bonnie loved spending time with Elmer, especially watching him train show horses. They wed on July 28, 1953 and together, with their four children, they lived a full and beautiful life.

Bonnie enjoyed working for the Utah State University Bookstore for over 20 years. She spent many hours gardening, feeding her humming birds, listening to records, and painting. Her favorite times were those she spent with her family. Nana loved games and, in her 86 years, never found an equal in Chinese Checkers or Pollyanna. One of Nana's wonderful gifts was being able to love in a way that was uniquely specific to the needs and hopes of the person she was with. Her family will forever treasure the way she shared her life and changed theirs, through uncommon love, charming stories, gentle arm tickles and a smile that would melt any "scamp's" heart.

Bonnie loved the Savior deeply and was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She acted and prayed with an exceptional faith that touched anyone who was lucky enough to experience it. We will miss our Nana dearly, but will cherish the lessons and love she gave us, until we're back with her again.

Bonnie is survived by her three daughters; Suzanne Erickson, Julie (Ed) Lawlor and Lisa (Mark) Haslam; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also, her in-laws; Betty Jean Loosle, Arnold Dance, and Lynn and Janae Erickson. She was greeted in heaven by her son, Scott; her husband, Elmer; four sisters (Margaret, Doreen, Norma and Betty); and two brothers (Don and Doug); and her loving parents.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the North Logan LDS chapel at 1105 E. 2100 North, North Logan. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Logan Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Allen Mortuary of North Logan. The family would like to thank all of those who have been a friend, caretaker and neighbor to Bonnie.
