Melvin was a member of the Lively Stone Tabernacle Church and Teamsters #618.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo Grohman and one son, Roger Grohman.
Melvin is survived by his wife Neoma R. (Sharp) Grohman of Desloge; one son, Byron Grohman also of Desloge; five grandchildren, Tami Boyer, Terry Lynn Grohman, Rashelle Grohman, Bethany Grohman, and Krystal Grohman; four great-grandchildren, Brooke, David, Aubree, and Bryce; one sister, Beatrice Avery.
Visitation was held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Missouri, Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The service was held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Williford officiating, assisted by Pastor Larry Baitinger.
Interment followed at Adams Hillcrest Cemetery in Bonne Terre, Missouri.
