Ernest Blatchford ~ At his home, after a short battle with cancer, on Sunday, March 25, 2018, Mr. William Ernest Blatchford of Listowel and formerly of Atwood, in his 68th year. Husband of Janette (Johnson) Blatchford. Son of Anna (Townshend) Blatchford of Listowel and the late Bill.
Father of Steve and Joy Blatchford of Guelph, and Shane Blatchford and Lori VanLoo of Wroxter, and grandfather of Aden and Harper. Brother-in-law of Edie and Carl Cardwell of Kitchener, Kathy Johnson, and Lorne Cousland, both of Listowel, and remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Joe and Peter, and by his sister-in-law Anna Cousland.
Ernie’s passion was the love of his family and friends and also riding his Spyder, and hunting.
Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery.
