Arlene A. Harvey, age 79 of Menomonie passed away on Monday March 26 2018 at The Neighbors of Dunn County.
Arlene was born on May 13, 1938 in Colfax, WI to Helmer and Elvira (Carlson) Nerison.
Arlene graduated from Menomonie High School in 1956. She married David Harvey on January 25,1958 at the United Methodist Church in Boyceville. Arlene worked at Dan’s Café in Menomonie, Sandy Lee Manufacturing, Phillips 66 Gas Station and Coin Machines until her retirement. She was very active in the United Methodist Church. She was a part of the Cedarlings 4H as a leader; she also enjoyed fishing, gardening, bird watching, knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles.
Arlene is survived by two sons, Dean (Michele) Harvey, Kevin (Linda) Harvey; grandchildren, Dustin (Marlena) Harvey, Jennifer (Brett) Kohnke, Paige (Jon) Link and Dylan Harvey; great grandchildren, Angelica, Olivia Harvey, Brody Kohnke and Abby, Jacob Link; brothers and sisters, Beverly Robinson, Lorna (Harlan) Knutson, Loren (Terri) Nerison, Elaine (Fred) Briggs, Gaylan (Linda) Nerison, Donna (Larry) Flick; sisters-in-law, Margie Nerison and Brenda Nerison; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Alene was preceded in death by her husband David, her parents, brothers Harland, Orville and Dennis Nerison, sister-in -law Roberta Nerison and brothers-in-law Merle Robinson and Delmer Rank.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 30, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Menomonie with Pastor Wendy Slaback officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at the Cedar Falls cemetery, Town of Red Cedar at a later Day.
