* Baptized in the Mississippi River on August 27, 1844 by John Boynton and Confirmed by Wilford Woodruff.
* Was present at the meeting after Joseph Smith's martrydom when the mantle fell to Brigham Young. She witnesses Brigham Young's countenance change and wanted her witness to be passed on.
* Started across the plains in 1852
* Her father was a missionary companion of Wilford Woodruff. Her step sister married Porter Rockwell and half sister married Heber C Kimball's son.
* She was an excellent steamstress, embroidery and quilting and was the best of cooks with most of her recipes in her head.
* She stenciled and painted her husband's furniture.
* Industrious, capable, friendly and made all her many homes comfortable.
* Loved geneology and moved to Logan to be near the temple.
