Jack Howard Hendrix, 79, of Dewy Rose, GA passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton, GA.

Mr. Hendrix was born in Jefferson, GA on February 4, 1939, son of the late Tom Hendrix and the late Flora Nicholson Hendrix. He was a parts worker having worked with Westinghouse, was a United States National Guard Veteran, and attended the Royston Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Hart Hendrix; and brothers, Don Hendrix, Raymond Hendrix and Tommy Hendrix.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Hendrix and Mike Sutcliffe of England, and Sonya and Scott Perry of Dewy Rose, GA; grandchildren, Chandler Perry, Anniston Perry and Georgia Sutcliffe.

Funeral services for Mr. Hendrix will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, with Rev. Eddie Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.
