Dorothy Ann Eckert of Saint Peters, MO, formerly of Florissant, MO, passed Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late James Hubbard; cherished daughter of the late Sebastian and Johanna Sommerer; devoted mother of James (Carol) Hubbard, Thomas (Lori) Hubbard, Jane Waddell and Martha (Steve) Sigel; loving grandmother of Julie and Andrew, Joe (Claire), Adam, and Alexandra and Gabrielle; dear sister of Kathernine Goe, Herbert (Charlene) Sommerer and James (Betty) Sommerer. Dorothy is also survived by the children of Don Eckert: Donna, Debbie, Steve, Diane, and Laura, and their children. Dorothy is preceded in death by her siblings Raymond Sommerer and Mary Hoehler.

Dorothy dedicated many years as a Registered Nurse for Dr. Bonfante and volunteered with St. Joseph Hospital after her retirement. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Atonement - Florissant for more than 50 years. In her free time she enjoyed bowling. Dorothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
