NORTHPORT – Rev. Ronnie G. Cooper, age 77, of Northport, Ala., died March 23, 2018, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Jolly and Rev. Andrew Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Cooper and mother, Estelle Cooper, both of Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Townsend Cooper; daughter, Mickie Smith; son, Darron Cooper (Kim); sisters, Margaret Bell and Helen Clements, both of Ky.; brother, Raymond Cooper of Ky.; and grandchildren, Mychale Cooper and Roman Cooper.

Pallbearers will be Mark Rose, Zach Hall, Gary Hannah, Reid Rainwater, Cole Hannah and Trey Evans.
