Robert L. Latta, 79, Bradenton, Fla., passed away on Friday, March 30, 2007.
He was born March 22, 1928 in Peru, and wintered in Bradenton since 1988. In 1993 he moved permanently to Bradenton. Robert is a veteran of the United States Marines, serving during World War II.
Survivors include his wife Gloria; two daughters, Cheryl Fields and husband Vernon, Bicknell, and Jean Hudson, Peru; three sons, Steven Latta and wife Pam, Bunker Hill, and Randy and Brad Latta, both of Peru; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held Friday at Brown and Sons Funeral Homes 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St., Bradenton, Fla.
