Tommy Jack Rutledge, 71, of Guthrie, OK, went to be with God on March 25, 2018. He was born Oct. 15, 1946, in Spearman, TX, to Archie and Annie Mae (Brewer) Rutledge. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1965 and married his high school sweetheart, Amanda Jewell, in 1966. Tommy was a Drill Sergeant in the United States Army and served for six years before pursuing a career in oil and gas, where he became one of the most highly respected division order analyst managers in the industry. Tommy was known for his friendliness, sense of humor and wit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Amanda, sisters Caroline Rutledge, Rosalie Young, Janet Hampton-Bentley, Alma Jean Rutledge and baby sister Shirley Annette Rutledge and brother Ronald Rutledge.

He is survived by his son Jeff Rutledge and wife Stacy, son Chad Rutledge and wife Christina; grandsons Tanner and Logan Rutledge and Caden and Cody Rutledge; brother Devallis Rutledge and wife Victoria; and numerous, nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 6, Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
