Ethel Bernice Martin (nee Sellers) was born March 13, 1928 in Jake Prairie, Missouri. The oldest of eight children born to Louis Edwin and Pearl Lottie (Bennett) Sellers. She departed this life on the March 26, 2018 at the precious age of 90, On December 20 1945 she was united in marriage to Thomas Lee Martin, at St. Louis City Hall and they shared 54 years of life together until Tom’s death.

She leaves behind 7 children: Janice and Don Hayden, David and Kim Martin, Lee Martin, and Darrell and Kathy Martin: 11 grandchildren: Brian and Chris Martin, Dawn and Mark Stanley, Bradley and Diana Martin, Chad and Christy Fisher, Derek and Kelley Martin, Dustin Martin; 11 great-grandchildren: Zachary Martin, Briana Martin, Braden Martin, Brooke Martin, Gage Keller, Dane Keller, Matthew Fisher, Emily Fisher, Katelynn Fisher, Logan Martin and Avery Martin; and 1 great-great grandchild, Gracelynn Martin. Siblings Helen Thomlinson, Norma Adams, Sarah and Larry Lambert, In-laws Flo and Doug Schier and Floyd and Joann Martin; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, daughter-in-law Laura Martin, siblings Louie Sellers, John Sellers, William Sellers, James Sellers and in-laws Essie and Wayne England, Cleon and Norma Martin.

Pallbearers included Brian Martin, Brad Martin, Derek Martin, Dustin Martin, Zachary Martin and Doug Martin. Honorary pallbearers: Floyd Martin and Charles England.

Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Wounded Warrior Project. Visitation Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. Friends may sign the family’s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
