Kathy Parker, 73, of Omaha, Nebraska, died Sunday, March 25, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.
The funeral service will be Thursday, March 29, 11:00 A.M. at Augustana Lutheran Church in Genoa with Rev. Josh Feala officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church. There will be a private family interment.
Kathy was born August 7, 1944, in Genoa, Nebraska, to Ralph and Donabelle (Hazen) Mohr. She grew up in Genoa and graduated from Genoa High School in 1962. She was later united in marriage to Winthrop "Tip" Parker III in Genoa. They worked various jobs and thus moved to various cities. Kathy worked as a bookkeeper, jeweler, sold Avon, and most recently managed hotels. She enjoyed all type of crafts, and was a Husker and Twins fan.
