She was preceded in death by her husband, C. C. Garrison; her parents, Ernest & Edna Hadden; four sisters, and two brothers.
Betty was the last living child out of a family with seven children. She was a member of West Tulsa United Methodist Church & The West Tulsa Historical Society.
Betty loved nature and gardening and was an exceptional home cook. She managed a school cafeteria for several years, and took great pride in her cake creations which she shared throughout her community, celebrating birthdays and weddings for over thirty years. She loved children, and contributed her time and talents to education-related fund raisers and for a time, served as President of the Parent Teacher Association
