Jessie Bejarano Medina was called to be home with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 13, 2014. She passed peacefully at her longtime home in Lordsburg, New Mexico. Jessie was born on February 5, 1940 to Manuel Bejarano and Ramona Benevides in Virden, New Mexico. Jessie married her high school sweetheart, Frederico Medina in 1958. They raised three sons together in Ontario, California and later moved to Lordsburg, New Mexico where they would retire. Jessie had a yearning and love for The Lord which she dedicated her life to. She enjoyed learning about The Word as much as she enjoyed teaching others about it. Over the years she was known to pass along literature, as well as open her home up for Bible studies. Jessie was always joyful and loved to laugh. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, cooking, dancing, reading and crocheting. She loved to garden and was fond of dogs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederico Medina Sr. and their son, Freddie Medina Jr. along with her sisters, Petra Meza and Nancy Bustillos and her brother Ramon Bejarano. Jessie is survived by her sons, Frankie and Ronnie Medina, as well as her daughter Yolanda Ramos. She had 7 grandchildren: Vanessa Medina Pete, Celena Medina, Freddie Medina Jr., Andrea Medina, Ronnie Medina Jr., Jessica Medina and Jessica E. Medina along with 11 great grandchildren. Jessie will be laid to rest between her husband and her son at Shakespeare Cemetery in Lordsburg, New Mexico.
