Death Claims Emma Post
Mrs. Emma Evangeline Post, 315 N. Sixth street, died at her home at 6:12 a.m. Wednesday after a long illness. She had been in critical condition several weeks.
A resident of this city since a small child, she came here with her parents Jane M. Freeman and Daniel Ashba from Templeton, Ind., where she was born July 29, 1876. She was married to John Post in this city on Aug. 15, 1897.
Survivors are two sons, Harold Post, 321 N. Sixth street and George M. Post of the home, one daughter, MRs. Carold Phillips, Elk City, Okla., one granddaughter.
Services will be at the Oldroyd-Erdman Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Paul Hantia of First Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery beside her husband who died July 12, 1952. Memorial services are being arranged by Oldroyd-Erdman.
