Pfc. David N. Simmons, 20, of Kokomo, Ind.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.; died April 8 in Baghdad when his unit came in contact with enemy forces using an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Harrison Brown. David is also buried at Arlington National Cemetery .∼On Easter Sunday, 2007, three soldiers were killed in a single incident in Iraq. On September 13, 2007, a single casket containing some of their mingled remains was buried at Arlington National Cemetery. They were SSGT Harrison Brown, Sgt. Todd A. Singleton, and PFC David N. Simmons. Each of these men also have some remains buried in other cemeteries. David is also buried at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery in his native Indiana: David.
