Annie Estell Day Collins was born December 3, 1938 in Porter, Texas to Clarence and Hettie May Yount Day. She was raised and attended school in Paris, Texas. Estell moved to Timpson, Texas and married Dotria Cleophus “Doc” Collins in 1959. She learned gardening, shooting, hunting, fishing, canning, and living off the land. She dedicated her life to her family of three children while working cows and putting up hay. She loved her Lord and served him through the Timpson First Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years, Doc Collins; brother, David Day; sisters, Lois Hancock, and Frances Kauffman; sister-in-law, Alma Collins.
