Marion Lillian Cole, 92, of Hutchinson, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at her home. She was born March 14, 1926, in Bangor, Maine, to William and Mildred (Lank) Warwick.

Marion graduated from high school in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a preschool director and a homemaker. Marion was a member of Countryside Baptist Church, where she was involved in a women's Bible study. Her greatest joy was being a loving and attentive grandma and great-grandma. Marion enjoyed making arts and crafts and painting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to read stories, chat with her family, and shower them with gifts.

On April 30, 1946, she married Frank Cole in Greenwich, Connecticut. They shared almost 72 years of marriage. Marion is survived by: husband, Frank of Hutchinson; sons, Frank Cole Jr. (Connie) of Stafford, Virginia, David Cole of Duck, North Carolina, Stephen Cole (Linda) of Alpharetta, Georgia; daughters, Ruth Phillips (Don) of Pittsboro, North Carolina, Rebecca Schmucker (Bryan) of Inman; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cameron Warwick, Ed Warwick; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Countryside Baptist Church, 819 W. 30th, Hutchinson, with Pastor Ron Kyker and Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Buhler Municipal Cemetery East. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to SIM (Sudan Interior Mission) for the benefit of Anisa Blomquist, a missionary serving in Niger, Africa, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
