(Peters) Elson. She attended Jetmore High School, graduating in 1978. She attended Barton Co., Dodge City and Garden City Community Colleges.
She was married to Craig Barnett Sr. on April 4, 1981. At the time of her death she was employed as a Home Health Aid for DSNWK of Hays, Kansas.
Survivors include; husband, Craig of the home; parents Richard and Hurmely Elson, Great Bend; 3 sons, Craig Jr. Jetmore, Cecil of WaKeeney, Preston also of WaKenney; 2 daughters, Heather Albin of Gove and Charley Maughlin, Dighton; 1 brother, Richard Elson, Great Bend; 3 sisters, Mary Alexander, Nancy Pennington, Garden City, Bobbie Elson of Gread Bend, KS; 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2004 at the First Methodist Church, KS. with Rev. Randy Jellison Knock officiating. Burial was in Healy Cemetery, Healy, Kansas.
Memorial were suggested to the American Heart Association in care of the Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N. 12th St., WaKeeney, KS.
