Mary C. (Shaw) Ott, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Gettysburg Hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 5-7 p.m. Pastor Anthony Zumbo will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Windsor Church of God Cemetery.
Mary was born in Windsor on April 6, 1954, the daughter of Margaret (Grove) Shaw of Windsor and the late Wilbur Shaw. She was a salon owner for many years, where she was a beautician. She was also a singer, songwriter, and musician.
Mary was enthusiastic about attending church and went to many different services. Mary's passion for music was evident in everything she did in her life. She wrote and performed songs for national artists. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and touched the lives of many friends and families.
Along with her mother, Mary leaves a son, Josh S. Almoney and his wife, Chatney of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Kyle and Benjamin Almoney; and two brothers, Anthony Shaw and his wife, Rhonda of Windsor and Keith Shaw and his wife, Tina of Brogue. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Shaw.
