Dallastown, Emma Jane (Smith) Noll, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her home on Thursday, March 22. She was the beloved wife of James F. Noll for 53 years.
Emma Jane was born in York on December 17, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Newell A. and Cora A. (Rosh) Smith.
Emma Jane was a Dallastown High School graduate and worked in banking for 35 years. She attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Dallastown. Emma was an avid reader and expressed her artistic talents through painting and jewelry making. She also enjoyed finding sea glass on family vacations and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her two daughters, Jami N. Flemmons and Heather D. Manahan; and her sons-in-law, Jason and Trevor; her four grandchildren, Christian, Madelyn, Camden and Cohen. She is also survived by her sister, Sherry Salsgiver and her husband, Dan; two nephews and her close extended family.
Following cremation, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 251 E. Main St., Dallastown, with Fr. John McCloskey OFM cap officiating. Prior to the funeral mass, a visitation with the family will be held at the church on Tuesday and will begin at 9 a.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to pedalitout.org, which supports melanoma research.
