Evie Elizabeth Wiley, age 98 of Social Circle, died on March 23, 2018. She was born on September 5, 1919 in Social Circle to the late Claude Thomas Wiley and the late Margaret Porter Wiley.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred P. Wiley, her sister, Dorothy Parker, and her nephew, Phil Wiley.
Surviving are: Nieces and Nephew, Amy Wiley Poole and Elise Wiley Hinkle of Social Circle, Claudia Lansburg of Lexington, S.C., and Garrett Parker of Covington, Ga.; Niece in Law, Susan Wiley of Hamilton, Ga.
She taught school for 39 years in the Social Circle City School System.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 31st at 2:00 PM at the Social Circle United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kathy Morris officiating. Interment will follow at the Social Circle City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31st from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Social Circle United Methodist Church.
